സ്വന്തം ! എന്തര്‍ത്ഥം ഈ വാക്കിന്‌ ?
എന്താണ് സ്വന്തം ആരുടെ സ്വന്തം
എന്നുടെ പക്കല്‍ ഉത്തരമില്ല
എന്നുടെ സ്വന്തമായ് ഒന്നുമേയില്ല
എന്‍ മന്ദസ്മിതങ്ങള്‍ ആര്‍ക്കു സ്വന്തം
എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് സ്വന്തം...
എന്‍ അശ്രുബിന്ദുക്കള്‍ ആര്‍ക്കു സ്വന്തം
എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കു സ്വന്തം
ഈ ജീവിതമോ അതാര്‍ക്കു സ്വന്തം
ഇഷ്ടം പോലല്ലോ അവകാശികള്‍
ജന്മമെടുക്കും മുന്‍പുള്ള നാളുകള്‍
ജനനി തന്‍ മാത്രം സ്വന്തമല്ലോ ഞാന്‍
എന്‍ ബാല്യകാലത്തിന്‍ അവകാശികള്‍
മാതാ പിതാക്കളും സോദരിയും
എന്‍ ജീവിതത്തിന്‍ നല്ല പങ്ക്
എന്‍ ഗുരുക്കന്മാരും സ്വന്തമാക്കി
എന്നുടെ ദുഖവും സന്തോഷവും
അവകാശികള്‍ക്ക് ഏകി വളരവേ
എന്നേക്കും ഉള്ളൊരു അവകാശി വന്നു
എന്‍ ജീവിതത്തേയും സ്വന്തമാക്കി
എന്‍ പകലുകള്‍ക്കും രാത്രികള്‍ക്കും
അവകാശികള്‍ രണ്ടുപേര്‍ പിന്നെയെത്തി
എന്‍ നിദ്ര പോലും എന്‍ സ്വന്തം അല്ലാതെയായ്
എന്‍ പൈതങ്ങള്‍ അതും സ്വന്തമാക്കി...
ഇങ്ങിനെ ഒഴുകുന്നു കാല പ്രവാഹത്തില്‍
ഇനിയുമുണ്ടോ അവകാശികള്‍ ?
ഇനിയെന്തുണ്ട് എന്‍ സ്വന്തമായ്
ഇല്ല ! ഒരല്പം ഏകാന്തത പോലും !
ഉണ്ട് സ്വന്തമായ് നിനക്ക
